Christmas is nearly here and Star Wars is finally out, which is exciting enough – but reality TV fans will be counting down to the days to one thing.

Celebrity Big Brother is returning in January with another series of big personalities trying to get along in confined spaces.

The new series is set to have a vaudeville theme, with the contestants taking a step back in time to the Victorian era.

With the line-up kept under wraps until the live launch night, there are plenty of rumours swirling about which celebrities might be headed into the house for the new series – from huge US stars to cult favourites, and plenty of famous faces from the world of reality TV.

Here are a few people who might turn up in the new series, with huge potential for big laughs and even bigger arguments – we can’t wait for it to begin.

Scott Disick

This would be a biggie. It’s rumoured that Scott Disick has been offered a record $1 million to take part in the latest series.

Bianca Del Rio

Make no mistake – Bianca Del Rio, aka Roy Haylock, would be the booking of a lifetime. The winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6 has a razor-sharp wit and no-nonsense attitude that makes for incredible reality TV. The signs for this one are looking good – Bianca appeared alongside Drag Race co-star Michelle Visage on an episode of Bit on the Side during the summer series.

Spencer Matthews

It’s fair to say that Spencer Matthews’ stint on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here earlier this year didn’t quite go to plan, as he was forced to leaved the jungle after just a few days on medical grounds. It’s rumoured that the Made in Chelsea star could be making a quick move to CBB – let’s see if he has more luck this time around.

Kristina Rihanoff

Strictly rumour for now, dancer Kristina Rihanoff’s name has been thrown around for a while. However, she has tweeted taking the mickey out of the suggestions she’ll be entering CBB – a good bluff, or genuine confusion?

According to @TheSun I was banned from @bbcstrictly, quit the show & doing Big Brother! The truth is I’m the wild card on @Xfactor tour

Gemma Collins

TOWIE star Gemma Collins is a popular choice for reality shows, and after a short trip to the jungle in I’m A Celeb, this might be a more comfortable option.

Dapper Laughs

Crikey. Britain’s most controversial comedian would surely ruffle more than a few feathers in the CBB house. You’ll know he’s about to head onto the show if sales of apology turtlenecks begin to spike.
