Vince Staples has been a hot commodity since his highly praised debut Summertime ’06 landed last June. Following up his “Norf Norf” visual, the frequent pundit (he’s landed on CNN and ESPN to discuss politics and gangs) levitates in the gravity-defying video for “Lift Me Up.”

“Finna spaz cause most my homies never finna get this chance/ All these white folks chanting when I asked ’em where my n—-s at?,” Staples spits on the DJ Dahi and No I.D.-produced track, shooting out his thoughts on the lifestyles of the rich in comparison to his Long Beach upbringing.
